Welcome to the PRG instructor highlight series! Each month we’ll be introducing you to one of our awesome instructors here at PRG in hopes that you find a little inspiration and motivation to get to class or try a new one!
This month we are highlighting, Wy’east yoga instructor, Christina Provencio. She is full of passion, love and creativity, which shine through in everything she does.
We asked Christina who she would encourage to come to her classes and here is what she said:
My classes are for the curious. In restorative yoga I offer a softly lit space with dreamy whimsical tunes. We hold supportive poses for several mins in order to dig deep, release tension and nurture our muscles. I use essential oils to assist in relaxing & soothing students while they focus on breathing with intention. In foundations yoga, we work on building strength and familiarizing our body with the asanas. There will always be an option to challenge your practice in this class, as there will always be an option to modify and listen to your limits. I call all walks of life to come and enjoy the light & magic that I see in you.
“I want to think again of dangerous and noble things. I want to be light and frolicsome. I want to be improbable and beautiful and afraid of nothing, as though I had wings”. – Mary Oliver
